Qualifications: Minimum 2
years Quality Assurance/Control experience in a FDA and/or ISO
manufacturing environment preferred. Certified Quality Technician (CQT),
Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or other Quality
certification/training preferred. High School diploma or equivalent.
Associates Degree preferred.
Plastic Processing Technician
responsible for the operation of the extrusion equipment, which
includes set-up, basic maintenance, and other support for the
quality production of medical tubing. This is an evening shift
opening (3:30 PM to midnight).
Qualifications: High School
diploma or equivalent and two year technical school degree for
plastics processing. Ability to read, understand, and follow
standard operating procedures, product specifications, and printed
instructions. Knowledge of proper operation of plastic processing
equipment and care of tooling. Basic knowledge of polymer materials
in relation to processing techniques, proper handling, and material
properties. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment including
proper gowning procedures.
